The InterContinental Miami was constructed in an untraditional manner. Instead of building the hotel and then decorating it, the starting point was a piece of art created by the renowned British sculptor Henry Moore: the 18-foot Spindle. The sculpture was the focal point around which the lobby was designed.<\/p>\n
